The mysteries of the universe could be within the swirling colours of the Moon & Star Aurora Opal Pendant.

I hand cut and polished the stone and set in sterling silver with a moon above and star below.

I include an 18" silver plated chain

Aurora Opal (Lab Created Opals) Fine Crystalline Opals with a Non-Directional Pattern of Play-of-ColorThis new type of lab created opal doesn't show a columnar pattern typical for opals grown by sedimentation. Thus, an orientation of the opals prior cutting is not necessary anymore.
Furthermore, in contrast to conventional impregnated synthetic opal the preparation method by homogeneous crystallization allows a significant lower silica content.
