I created this Turquoise and Jasper pendant with a Southwest feel to the design.  I hand stamped a pattern around the edges and set everything in sterling silver.  Silver leaves adorn the turquoise stone.  A dark patina was added to highlight the details.

The chain is nickel and lead free, 18" long.

Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man's history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.
The Physical Healing Powers of Turquoise. As a healing stone, Turquoise is among the crystal healing master stones. According to followers of the New Age, the healing powers of Turquoise can benefit the whole body, with special strengths in healing ailments of the immune, respiratory, waste and skeletal systems.
The Jasper Stone is known as the Nurturing Stone. Having it in your life will feel like having a best friend by your side because it will sustain you during times of stress. It will bring you peacefulness, happiness, and completeness. It will give your confidence a boost, and it will get rid of all your irrational fears. The Jasper Stone is a stone of gentleness, comfort, and relaxation. It will be very beneficial for people who are experiencing burnout from work or from something personal. Having this stone in your life will also help you achieve a healthy balance in all aspects. It will stop you from feeling like you’re giving too much and not receiving enough in return. The energies of this stone can warm your soul, clear your mind, and unload what’s in your heart. It will also give protection and help you deal with negative energies.
